Spin Master, known in Japan as Miracle Adventure (ミラクルアドベンチャー), is a platformer game released in 1993 by Data East for the Neo Geo, being their first game for the platform. The game was later released on the Wii Virtual Console in 2010.
This game draws heavily from Joe & Mac, another Data East game, both on gameplay and graphical style. It also sees the return of the Dr. Dogedo, a recurring villain from Data East's games who had appeared previously on Tumble Pop and Diet Go Go and also appears in Joe & Mac Returns.
Spin Master received a semi-sequel for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis called Dashin' Desperadoes.
Story[]
A long time ago, a person hid a huge treasure on an island. Someone secretly left a map of the location of the island, but over the years it became dirty, torn, and scattered around the world in five pieces of paper... And now, the young man holding one of those scraps of paper is the adventurous adventurer Johnny. He lived happily with his girlfriend Mary and his best friend Tom, dreaming of finding treasure one day. However, one day, a treasure-loving mad scientist, Dr. Dogedo, came and stole the piece of the map and kidnapped Mary. Johnny and Tom embark on a magical adventure with yo-yos in hand. This is the beginning of the miracle adventure.
