Sanzo Kumano (熊野 参造) is one of the protagonists of the Detective Saburo Jinguji series.
Story[]
Sanzo is a 30-year veteran detective working at Yodobashi Police Station. He is stubborn, has a strong sense of responsibility, and is good at craftsmanship. He got acquainted with Saburo after a certain incident in the past, and from then on, he would show up at the Jinguji office whenever possible. He's an old-fashioned veteran police inspector, and although he often drinks with Saburo, he is sarcastically told that he doesn't go out to investigate much these days.
