Express Raider, known in Japan as Western Express (ウエスタンエクスプレス) is an action game developed by Data East and released in 1986 for arcades. It was ported the next year to home computers of the time and would later receive digital ports to the Nintendo switch and PC.
Overview[]
In Express Raider the player controls a Wild West outlaw. The game's levels alternate between on-foot levels aboard moving trains, where the player can punch enemies and must reach the train's engine, and levels on horseback, where the game uses a third person perspective as the player controls an aiming reticule and must shoot at oncoming targets while also avoiding enemy fire.
