The Data East M6502 Hardware is an arcade board developed by Data East and released in 1982, originally made to run dedicated versions of DECO Cassette System titles. The system utilized a M6502 processor, with two different setups working at 1.5 MHz and 750 kHz respectively, with a separate 500 kHz M6502 processor for sound along with two AY-8910 sound chips. Data East also made two revisions of the board, one with a bigger screen resolution and a modified version which ran Laserdisc games.
The first revision of the board was extensively used by Technos Japan, who licensed the board to release their own titles.
